Hi mamas!
If there's one thing I've learned on my journey through motherhood, it's the incredible power of
mealtime management. Let's face it: with kids, it's not just about putting food on the table; it's
about creating nutritious meals that they'll actually enjoy, all while juggling a million other tasks.
Planning Ahead for Success
Breakfast: I start by jotting down simple, yet nutritious breakfasts for each day. From overnight
oats to wholesome smoothies or even a quick scramble, having a plan ensures that mornings
run smoothly. And if we have a late start, most Munchikinz snacks make beautiful on-the-go
breakfasts to be enjoyed in the car… Pawsome Pancakes to the Rescue!
Lunch: Next up, I tackle lunch. Since Adnan and Zaha eat their lunch at school, I make sure to
plan portable, easy-to-eat meals like pasta with veggie loaded sauce, vegetable and minced
beef fried rice, kibbeh (cooked in the airfryer instead of deep fried), Munchikinz’ Cluckin’
Nuggets or Munchikinz’ Loaded Chicken Kebabs with Hummus for dipping or in a wrap.
Dinner: Dinner is where I get a bit more creative. I aim for balanced meals that incorporate lean
proteins, plenty of veggies, and whole grains. I make sure to cook enough for two days and this
way, I cook every other day instead of every day.

Snacks: Last but not least, I plan out snacks and lunch boxes which include Fresh fruit, veggie
sticks with hummus, and of course, Munchikinz snacks! I take into consideration which days the
kids will be having snacks on the go and plan accordingly.
And guess what? The weekend isn't just a break for the kids—it's a break for the whole family. I
take a break from cooking, and we eat out. Because we stick to wholesome, healthy meals and
snacks during the week, I can let go during the weekend and let Adnan and Zaha enjoy what
they want without feeling guilty.
Meal Prep Made Easy
Once my meal plan is set, I spend a bit of time prepping breakfast and lunches for the week.
Whether it's washing and chopping veggies, portioning out snacks, or even batch-cooking some
freezer-friendly meals, this step saves me so much stress during those hectic weekday
mornings.
And speaking of stress relief, that's where Munchikinz comes in! With our wholesome, nutritious
snacks, I can rest easy knowing that my kids are enjoying delicious treats made with real
ingredients – no nasties included.
So there you have it – my tried-and-true mealtime management strategy. By taking a bit of time
each weekend to plan ahead, you'll set yourself up for a week of stress-free meals and happy,
satisfied kiddos. Here's to more moments spent enjoying family time, instead of stressing over
what's for dinner!
With love & deliciousness,
Hala
